McKenzie Law Christmas card line drawing with the two whippets in the courtyard.

Thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday evening in Dogpole for Christmas drinks, mince pies and a look around the new office. We hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did. We really appreciated you all taking time out of your hectic pre-Christmas schedules to make it a proper party. Running from 4.30 to 6.30 we thought it would be an excuse for some of you to leave work early, others to call in on the way home, and then everyone to finish their Christmas shopping (late night opening) – and even sing carols in The Square for an extra festive element. We think that the last guests leaving at 9pm was a good sign that people had enjoyed themselves (we have also counted up the Champagne corks we could find…further evidence of a good time and now on ML Instagram). We are pleased you didn’t leave us with too many edible left overs, just  a few mince pies to eat with morning coffee, thank you. We hope you will agree that our teenage waiters Ed and Harry along with Georgia did a great job handing around the food and keeping glasses topped up. They are all training to be useful. We also hope everyone went home in the correct coat.

The office has now definitely been christened. Thank you all for your kind comments and for all your support and encouragement. We have exciting professional plans for 2015, we won’t be opening a wine bar on Dogpole ….but we do at least now know that the building is both great for a Law firm and a party, and we look forward to planning the next one.

We wish everyone a happy and peaceful Christmas and all good things for 2015.
